My father and I arrived at the used car lot across town at about two in the afternoon. I knew that we would have plenty of time to find the perfect car. My father would have to be back at home by five before my mother got home from work. I was all set until my husband came home around six. The idea was to buy a Used VW for my mother and then I would drive it to my house. It would remain at my house until my mother’s birthday, which was just a few days away. It was going to be so great to see her find out about it!
