I have had my Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go phone for about a year now. I’ve not really had any major problems with it. I have noticed that finding the top-up vouchers can be a problem in some areas of the UK, but it is possible to top-up using a credit or debit card. I find the network coverage to be excellent, and i have not had any problems, which is good because i travel to the most of the UK. The most inpressive features for this free service are the free SMS messaginga nd the free email to SMS message features. The email to SMS comes in extremely useful when you are on the move without email access. I would recommend the network to people, as the call tariffs are resonable compared to the other networks.
