Daughter Asks Me A Question About Health Insurance

May 1st, 2011 by admin

When my seven year old daughter, Susie, got home from school last night, she asked what is a health insurance deductible. I asked Susie why she wanted to know. Susie told me that that she had heard someone on the school bus talking about it. I told Susie that a deductible was the amount of money that someone had to pay each year, before their health insurance would pay the rest of their medical bills. Susie thanked me for explaining it to her.
