My brother works for an auto repair company. They often have customers who authorize a repair and then never come back to get their car. After a certain period of time, they can request a title for the car under a mechanic’s lien. There is a process they have to follow, but once it’s complete, the car belongs to the facility along with all of the contents. My husband got a title for a car the other day and, in the back of it, he found nine DISH systems. His boss had no use for them so he gave them to my husband. Now our whole family can have a system for free and they are thrilled.
