My husband and I homeschool our children so when we travel we try to go to a different International location every year.  Last year we went to South Africa for two weeks.  We chose to go to Johannesburg because we felt like that was one of the most historical cities in South Africa.  I was able to go online and find cheap hotels in Johannesburg that fit our family budget and we took off for a learning adventure.  The kids learned a lot and wrote essays on the whole trip.  We saved a lot of money on trip and I learned that the Internet is the only place I will ever go for travel plans.
