I am trying to find a place to stay for our upcoming trip to New Zealand. While I was looking for Ruapehu accommodation I came across some listings for baches, but I don’t know exactly what this is? Can anyone tell me? I don’t want to miss out on a good opportunity for a place to stay just because I am unfamiliar with the terminology that is being used. Would I want to stay in one of these places, or should I stick to places listed as vacation homes? Anyways, I would appreciate some advice so I don’t make the wrong decision.
