Designing a Plyometric Workout

Plyometrics are unique exercises and should have their own unique plyometric workout routine. Here you will learn some of how to design your own plyometric workout routine. Plyometrics are all about improving reactive strength, so you want to do exercises that require you to shift the movement of a heavy load like your bodyweight quickly. During a single workout you should start with high volume and low intensity workouts. As you finish up your workouts should be the opposite with low volume and high intensity workouts. Doing this allows you to focus on each repetition at the end and helps you be able to use your full power.
