The interesting part in my training to become a medical assistant was mainly in the clinical areas. I thought that by getting into this field I would get away from the clinical duties but it turns out I was mistaken. Some of my training did pertain to the front office job duties. I am glad that I learned both sides of the job because it turns out that the position that I really would like in the local office has lists the medical assistant requirements as both the front and back of the office. While I will try to stay in the back, I am very comfortable in the front as well.
