I own a few homes and I rent them out to different people. There have been a few times where I rented out one of my homes to people that were less than honorable. When I received payment, if in fact I did receive payment, it was always late and never with respect. When they eventually were kicked out, they left the house a mess with several things needing repairs. I have learned the hard way that finding reliable people to rent my houses is a very important thing. But thankfully I can find criminal records online and can now tell if a person is trustworthy or not.
