The Unalergic Labradoodle

January 24th, 2009 by admin

Our family has always loved dogs but several years ago we had to get rid of all of ours because our son had began to exhibit signs of an allergic reaction to dog dander.  It broke our hearts to see them go, but given the circumstances we could see no other alternative.   In a conversation with a veterinarian,  he asked me if I had ever considered choosing a Labradoodle as a pet?  He explained that one of the reasons the dog was originally bred was to provide a dog that would not cause allergies from their fur.   He allowed me to borrow one and when our son showed no allergic reactions the dog became permanently ours.
