Tea in the Garden Room

February 23rd, 2009 by admin

One of the traditions in my family has been to take our afternoon tea in the garden room.  We’ve been doing it since I was little, and now I continue that tradition with my own children and grandchildren.  The room has been renovated a time or two, and replaced once after an incident with some old tinder and my uncle Tim’s cigar, but the memories and the tradition remain the same.  I particularly appreciate the good insulation of the new building.  The other was a bit drafty, which fit with the memories I had as a little girl but which weren’t so good for these old bones.
