My business partner and I decided to start looking at properties that we could buy at a decent price and then we could fix them up and resell them. We wanted to do this in the Houston area. We had no problems in finding Houston real estate, there were houses galore. We started out with just one home to see how things would turn out. It was a lot of work but it was very profitable.  After selling that first home we were able to hire more people to help out and this has turned out to be a lucrative business for us.
