It is very surprising to me that my favorit aunt just bought the Henckels Four Star Knife Set because she is a very frugal person.  I love her to death and she is great in many ways, but spending money to her is like pulling teeth.  She does not enjoy it.  When I was a kid, she used to literally give me a quarter for my birthday.  This knife set that she just bought is significantly more than a quarter.  In fact, I think that it costs about a thousand dollars.  The really shocking part is that she doesn’t cook that much.
