Don’t buy a cheap cordless drill

I wanted to get my son some tools. He is going off to college and I figure he needs to have some of the basics. That includes a cordless drill. So I went to the discount store and bought a cheap cordless drill. You would know the brand name if I said it, so I assumed it would be a decent value. I learned my lesson. That thing literally worked for three days before it broke. Of course, when I tried to take it back there’s some technicality with the warranty, so I’m out the money. It wasn’t a big loss, but why bother? Do yourself a favor. Buy quality tools that will last a lifetime. Leave the cheap stuff at the store.
