In the past, when we still lived in Florida, we used to think that it was ironic that our dentist would have a treasure box for the kids to pick a prize from that was full of gum and candy. The kids were allowed to take two items apiece which was, well fun for them, and not so hot for the parents. When we moved to North Carolina and took our children to the dentist for the first time, we were pleasantly surprised to find that their treasure box was full of rubber bracelets with different sayings like brush your teeth and remember to floss. It was a nice change.
