Mad Men on the Moon: Hilton Sharks Bay

September 3rd, 2010 by admin

“I want a Hilton on the Moon. That’s where we’re headed.” Although Conrad Hilton’s unashamedly ambitious statement of intent to Donald Draper in Mad Men might not have been fulfilled quite yet, it’s arguable that the closest the Hilton empire has come to realising these lunar aspirations is the Hilton Sharks Bay in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh. Looking out of the crystalline waters of the Red Sea and set against the stark beauty of the Sinai peninsula, with its vast desert and jagged mountain ranges, Sharm el Sheikh and Egypt’s other red sea resorts offer a beauty that’s quite unique.  Moreover, with 7 swimming pools and no fewer than 11 restaurants and bars, it’s hard to imagine a better-appointed hotel.

Grafton Hotel

August 23rd, 2010 by admin

That is why, if you plan to appear to Hollywood to make an “assault” on the ivory tower, it is nice to have a safe, comfort zone to retire to following a long day of battle. General Manager, Chad Thompson runs a tight ship and he will be happy to stretch the boundaries of his accommodations to see to it that all is well with your stay. It is a “quaint” tiny place which lends credence to its charm. The great pool location is reminiscent of a secret, tiny European enclave, that is so hush-hush, data about it is secreted among pals. Its central location is perfect for any jaunt to Hollywood hot spots, shopping, museums and other cultural affairs. The Grafton Hotel is one of the best hollywood hotels , give it a whirl and tell them Superstarcase sent you!

Holidays to Sharm el Sheikh and Going on a Safari Adventure

August 21st, 2010 by admin

We went on one of the amazing holidays to Sharm el Sheikh. While we were there, we did a quad trip into the desert and had a remarkable time. From the collection at our hotel, everything ran like clockwork. The desert experience was breathtaking, we were thoroughly well looked after from start to finish. We got up to some fantastic speeds, saw some amazing sights, went to a Bedouin tent and rode camels. Our guide had a fantastic knowledge of the area and we were not crowded. I enjoyed it so much I tried out all of the trips they offered and all were just as good as the last one. The location for the break in the middle of the safari is unique as they come, and I suggest trying one of the local’s cups of tea! Something different to say the least.

Tea Samplers Rock!

August 20th, 2010 by admin

I’m so stoked on some new tea samplers I just found the other evening at ExoticTeaClub.com!  Some of their tea samplers have 4 or 5 different teas from around the world and usually I have never heard of any of them.  What is really cool is that they have similar teas but grown in different regions of the world so you can compare what happens to tea being a culture apart from each other.  I like that they don’t try to charge you an arm and a leg by making you purchase a large amount of each tea like have seen on other websites.  I just want enough of each tea to enjoy the various teas without building a closet of tea.
