Personal Loans are at least one type of loan that is widely available to many different kinds of people.  Lenders are looking mainly at a person’s income and credit report when they are going through the approval process.  This does not mean that people with less than perfect credit cannot get a personal loan.  It does mean that they will not receive the best terms and conditions.  Most people with poor credit will receive higher interest offers than those people who have really spectacular consumer credit histories.  However, since personal loans are reported monthly to consumer credit bureaus, the person with a lower score can begin to rebuild their credit by paying their new loan on time each month.
