I just bought a new car. During the negotiation process, the sales guy tried to sell me an extended warranty. Well, I was not going to give the dealer any more of my money so I did not buy it. However, now I am wondering if an extended car warranty is worth the money. My car has a 3 year warranty but everyone knows that as soon as your warranty expires, you car starts to need expensive repairs. I have been researching warranties on the Internet and they are a lot less expensive than what the dealer was trying to sell me, so I think I will get one to protect my investment.
