The first time I traveled out of the country I had the mistaken idea the the exchange rate for currency would be the same everywhere. I have since learned that it isn’t. Now when I travel I have to investigate to find out where I can find the best foreign exchange rates. I have to admit that it doesn’t make any sinse to me. I would think on any given day the rates would be set for all the places that exchanged U.S. currency for other currency. In the past, when we still lived in Florida, we used to think that it was ironic that our dentist would have a treasure box for the kids to pick a prize from that was full of gum and candy.
