I had to talk to my boss about our travel agent at work. She does a horrible job of making hotel reservations. She just puts us in the first hotel she finds, and doesn’t consider anything like quality, if it is in a good part of town, or if it is close to the site where we will be working. I have had to stay at some places that are completely inappropriate. I am not saying that when I travel to the Philippines, I have to stay the the absolute Best Hotels Manila has to offer, but I do need to stay in a comfortable, safe hotel.
