When I was on my lunch break last Thursday, some of my co workers and I were talking about the oil spill on the gulf coast. My one co worker said that she heard on the news that many hotel owners were filing BP Claims, so they could receive money that they were losing, because of the oil spill. My co workers and I started talking about whether we believed these hotel owners could survive without the tourist industry. Most of us believed that most of the hotels won’t be able to survive long with out tourists. I really hope that we our wrong and that the hotels will be able to stay open.
